About me - Alessio Bianchi

I’m a professional Android software engineer and team leader. I’m currently focusing on banking and finance apps, published on Google Play and used by millions of people.

Since 2011, I’m full-time employed at Opentech Software Engineering S.r.l., Roma

I have extensive field experience writing software and tools in Kotlin, Java, Python, shell scripting. I routinely use RxJava, Gradle, Proguard, Dexguard, Firebase (Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics), JUnit, Robolectric.

In 2014, I have co-authored and patented in Italy Enhanced Hybrid Framework, a cross-platform framework (Android, iOS) to implement hybrid apps with native views.

I worked closely with PCI-DSS qualified assessors to make Opentech PCI-DSS 3.0 compliant.

I attend Droidcon and Codemotion regularly.

I earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” in 2011, with a score of 110 over 110 and with honors. You can find my master thesis here and my bachelor thesis here.
